Introductions and rules followed by report of TTRA work:
Develop Trellick. Four co-design workshops led by Prof. Pablo Sendra, Bartlett UCL funded by the London Museum (Domenico Sergi took part in all workshops). Pablo’s team produced a document Trellick and Edenham Community Plan available on our website trellicktower.com. The resident lead co-design process continues
TT52 Festival 13 July 2024 preceded by film week with 8-12 July, ball court. Children’s films at 3.30, adults at 7 pm. Start of festivities on Saturday at 2 pm. The programme includes music, stalls, food, graffiti writers, children’s activities, a visit from the fire brigade
The clubroom is almost at the end of the procurement process. Work to include refurbishment including new kitchen and toilets, replacement of windows (Crittall windows reinstatement), sitting around the room, storage cupboards, and blinds.
Lobby. Re-cabling completed. The cost has gone up but it includes items which are not necessary. RBKC sifting through contractor’s proposal - due diligence. No time frame is available.
Installing notice boards in each of the three lifts with a section to be used by residents for small notices.
Edenham Way. Proposal to merge TTRA and Edenham compact to increase residents’ strength in our dealings with the council.
CIC (Community Interest Company) will give us advantages in raising funds. Need to decide on the board members, who have to be TT residents. There will be no influence from investors, donors or any other external organisations.
Potential project. Pablo Sendra is exploring the possibility of EU funding for the co-design of the beach and TT surroundings.
Financial report for 2023-2024 Income £17,970 + £246 interest Expenditure £13,875 (TT51, Develop Trellick, Sundry TTRA expanses, TT Christmas: tree, children’s party, gift boxes). Surplus for year £4341. Balance sheet summary for 15 months leading to 14 June 2024 £17,173.19.
Election. Quorum achieved. Members of the committee resigned and were nominated, seconded elected as follows: Keith 13 votes, Barbara 14, Anna 15, JP 15, Mary 14, Crispin 15, Hayley 15, Silvera 14, Lola 13 and Noreen 14. Roles are to be decided at the next committee meeting.
